1. The app
The Notes to Play app, its source code, interface design, the "Notes to Play" name and logo, the stage and intro artwork, instrument drawings, icons, guides and text are owned by Smart Man Media, LLC and protected by copyright and other laws. You may use the app as described in the Terms of Use; you may not copy, modify, redistribute or resell it, or extract its sounds or artwork, without written permission.
2. Your songs
You own the songs, lyrics, melodies, arrangements and recordings you create in the app. Using the app's chord suggestions, patterns or built-in sounds in your music does not give us any rights in your songs, and you don't need to credit Notes to Play (though we'd love to hear them).
Chord progressions and scales are common musical building blocks and aren't owned by anyone. The app's built-in sounds are licensed to you only for making music inside the app and in recordings of your own music, not as a sample library.
